Biomedical Engineering Faculty Position The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is seeking qualified individuals for one or two tenure-track positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related discipline, plus research expertise primarily in applied biomaterials, with emphasis on drug delivery or molecular transports. Applicants with research expertise in other related BME fields are encouraged to apply for a second position. Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biomedical engineering and establish a state-of-the-art research program in collaboration with the Indiana University School of Medicine on the IUPUI campus. Qualified candidates may be offered joint appointments in both engineering and medicine.
