Indiana University School of Dentistry is the only dental school in the Hoosier state and educates 85% of the dentists practicing in Indiana. Indiana University School of Dentistry invites applicants to apply for a full-time clinical or tenure-track position, at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Major responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction for post-doctoral students. Some teaching in the pre doctoral program is required. Primary teaching responsibilities to be in the Graduate Pediatric Dentistry Program located at Riley Children's Hospital on the IU School of Medicine campus adjacent to the IUPUI campus. Qualifications: Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school; a certificate in pediatric dentistry from an ADA-CODA accredited program; educationally qualified or certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana. The ideal candidate should have a positive history of publication, funded research and continued desire to participate in research. Opportunities for extramural and intramural private practice exist. Candidates should have hospital experience and will be required to maintain hospital privileges at Riley Children's Hospital/IU Health.
