INDIANA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY DEPARTMENT OF ORAL SURGERY AND HOSPITAL DENTISTRY Indiana University School of Dentistry is located just west of Downtown Indianapolis in central Indiana and has a long history of education, service and research excellence. The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the rank of Clinical or Tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor. The Indiana University OMFS department and residency is the sole program within the State of Indiana and is a self-established referral source to the OMFS in the State. The faculty and residents cover several interconnected facilities on the downtown campus, (including IU Health University Hospital and Simon Cancer Center, IU Health Methodist Hospital, Wishard Hospital, and Riley Children's Hospital at IU Health), with Methodist, Wishard and Riley having the only level 1 trauma centers in the State. Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching at the pre-doctoral level and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program. There are several various opportunities that are available to an interested and qualified candidate. There is the ability for a qualified individual to fully integrate themselves into a full scope residency educational program participating in all aspects of surgical care. A competitive salary package is available. Qualifications: Completion of a dental or graduate program accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation is required. Candidates must be a Diplomate certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. The successful appointee must obtain an Indiana Dental License. Rank and salary will be based on credentials and experience.
