Indiana University Oral Surgery The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry invites applications for a full time Clinical or Tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Indiana University has recently opened a new 400,000+ sq foot cancer facility and the department is seeking an OMFS fellowship trained candidate in head and neck surgery. The new cancer facility complements the four interconnected downtown hospitals (IU Hospital, Methodist Hospital, Wishard Hospital, and Riley Children's Hospital). The downtown facilities include the only Level 1 facilities in the State of Indiana. The IU OMFS department and residency is the sole program within the State of Indiana and has established itself as a referral source for the Indiana OMFSs. While the opportunity will exist for this individual to develop a head and neck / reconstructive practice to complement the current departmental activities the faculty member will participate in the full scope of practice. In addition to the individuals focus on head and neck surgery other responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching at the predoctoral level and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program. A competitive salary package is available. Candidates must have a dental degree, completed an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency, and be eligible for licensure in Indiana.
