Post-master’s Options
Post-master’s options are available for each MSN major. Emphasis is on designing individualized plans of study according to your educational background. The option varies from 12 to 21 credits, depending on previous coursework and order of study.
The applicant must already have a Master's in Nursing. The applicant must apply to the major by the designated application deadlines for the MSN majors - September 15 for spring admission and February 15 for fall admission. Family Nurse Practitioner admits February 15 for fall admission only and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner admits September 15 for spring admission only.
Faculty members in the appropriate department will create a plan of study after the student is admitted to the major.
