Dr. Edgar Huang

Dr. Edgar Huang is an associate professor of informatics from the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) School of Informatics New Media Program. Dr. Huang has taught media convergence, video production and editing, photojournalism, photography, Web publishing, graphic and layout design, research methods, computer-assisted reporting and news writing courses at IUPUI, the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, Northern Illinois University, Indiana University, University of California, San Diego, and Institute of International Relations. Huang started his college teaching career in 1984.

His journal articles on media convergence, online journalism, documentary photography, postmodern photography, digital imaging, and the Internet and national development are seen in Convergence, Journalism and Communication Monographs, Visual Communication Quarterly, Information Technology for Development, and so on.

Huang received his Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication from Indiana University in 1999 and M.F.A. degree in Visual Arts from University of California, San Diego, in 1995.

Clifford C. Marsiglio

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Testing Center

Clifford Marsiglio is the Manager of Development for the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Testing Center. Mr. Marsiglio was instrumental in moving his department over to the then new World Wide Web in the mid-1990s and helmed the technology team that put one of the first Computer Adaptive Tests 'online' in 1996 utilizing a hybrid technology of WebStar, HyperCard and FileMaker. Focusing on less conventional testing applications, Marsiglio was one of the technical managers for an Automated Essay Scoring software in a collaboration with Duke University, resulting in both academic publications and the eventual technology transfer to a major testing corporation.

Jennifer Stewart

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis School of Informatics

Jennifer Stewart serves as a faculty member and online coordinator at the Indiana University School of Informatics at IUPUI. Jennifer was instrumental in the design and execution of the Department of Computer and Information Science's online program at IUPUI. She served as the Coordinator of the Applied Computer Science program for six years before joining Informatics in 2006.

Jason Sisk

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis School of Informatics

Jason Sisk is the Web & Database Specialist for the IU School of Informatics at IUPUI. He has over 20 years experience in computers and communications technologies, with primary concentrations in web applications, networks, and databases. He has supported and led various technology efforts in the IU system since the 1990's, including a key role in the initial IT infrastructure development for the School of Medicine's Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center.

Sisk received his M.S. in Media Arts and Science from Indiana University in 2003 and his B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University in 2000.
