Robert M. Worth, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Robert M. Worth is a Professor of Neurological Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. His areas of specialization include spinal surgery, epilepsy surgery and stereotactic radiosurgery. In the area of epilepsy surgery, Dr. Worth has been one of the leaders in brain resection to help control epileptic seizure activity.

Dr. Worth received his baccalaureate degree from Butler University and medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency internship at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before serving as a Flight Medical Officer in the United States Air Force. Dr. Worth returned to the Indiana University Medical Center to complete his Neurological Surgery Residency. He joined the Neurological Surgery faculty upon completion of his residency. He also has obtained a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Indiana University.

A native of Indianapolis, Dr. Worth is married and has one child.
