Mitesh V. Shah, M.D., F.A.C.S

Dr. Mitesh V. Shah is an Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery and Co-Director of Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center. He was born in India and raised in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Shah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor or Science Degree and obtained his medical degree with honors from Temple University. He completed his neurological residency at the University of Minnesota and a fellowship in cranial base surgery at George Washington University.

Dr. Shah is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the North American Skull Base Society. He is also a member of the Joint Section on Cerebrovascular Disease and Brain Tumors. He enjoys all aspects of general neurological surgery but has special expertise in brain tumors and cerebrovascular problems.
