Anatomy of an Exhibit: Mihtohseenionki Documents

These materials are meant for students in Exhibiting Native American Cultures at IUPUI and are the possession of the Eiteljorg Museum. For all others, please do not use them without written permission of the Eiteljorg Museum.

Students: The Mihtohseenionki (Mihtoh) materials here have been roughly organized into three sections, Planning, Educational Programming, and Evaluation. Some documents are self-explanatory by title while other need a bit of explanation. Certainly these are not all the documents available, but some key items and some examples.

Mihtohseenionki Audio Tour, 9/12/06

The new student to the group, Melanie, leads a "tour" of Mihtoh for the class to give her impressions. She was asked specifically to see if she could figure out the organizational scheme. The rest of the class joins the discussion. Also included in the tape is the narration of the entryway video, which as it turns out, none of us had ever stopped to view. That raised an interesting discussion about why we hadn't. This is a more detailed discussion of the exhibit than the class has had before. The audio is set up to stream in Real Audio 10, so you may need to upgrade to that free basic player. If you missed class, please listen to it!
