Medical Students for Choice

The main goal of this group is to educate IU students on issues related to women's reproductive health. In the past few years, the group has held various lunch talks, some featuring educational videos and has co-sponsored informational lunches on women's health in conjunction with the American Medical Women's Association. The group sponsors panel discussions and debates sensitive social issues concerning women's reproductive rights, as well as how to better understand, communicate and relate to future patients.The Medical Students for Choice SIG is involved in the Indiana Legislative- Pro-Choice coalition to help educate legislators and the public on important reproductive health information.
