Medical Specialty Interest Groups

The Medical Specialty Student Interest Groups offer numerous opportunities for IUSM medical students to explore areas of interest in Medicine. These groups range from general to very specific.

Due to an increased number of student interest groups over the last few years and limited financial resources within the student council budget, students interested in leading a Medical Specialty SIG are strongly encouraged to develop a relationship with faculty in theMedical Department that most closely coincides with the interest of the group. These departments may have resources available to help move the interest group in the right direction.
