(SBCME) Primary Care Interest Group

With the help of the Memorial Hospital and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Programs, members of the 2007 class at Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend, created the Primary Care Student Interest Group. The goal of this interest group is to foster an interest in and provide an awareness of careers in primary care medicine (including pediatrics, family medicine, and internal medicine). The group hosts community education-outreach sessions, special guest lunchtime lectures, procedure workshops, and job shadowing opportunities.
