The OBSIG is a student-run interest. group open to any student interested in the specialty of Ob/Gyn or even simply interested in the topic of women's health. We host approximately 3 journal clubs per semester, organize philanthropic events such as student teams in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, provide informational pamphlets concerning STDs to middle school/high school students, as well as host lunch lectures for the I st/2nd year medical students concerning women's health topics. The club also serves as an opportunity for students and Ob/Gyn faculty of both IV and St. Vincent's to interact outside of the hospital.
