    Evening of the Arts are on the horizon. The date is set ofr April 5th, 2006. The event is a medical student driven charity function where medical students get an opportunity to showcase their talents bydisplaying photographs,
    paintings, drawings, handmade furniture and pottery. Performances included singing, playing instruments and/or dancing. The 2005 performances included piano, saxaphone and guitar as well as . theproceeds of which go to help .the Wheeler Mission, Horizon House Day Center, Salvation Army, Genessaret Free Clinic, St. Thomas Clinic and Indianapolis homeless programs. The financial assistance to medical clinics helps the medical community meet the healthcare needs of the homeless and working poor of Indianapolis and its surrounding areas. Funds are raised at each year's performance through ticket sales, a visual art auction, and by donations from area businesses and individual sponsors. Any funds left over after the operating costs of the event are covered go towards the purchase of equipment and medications.
    The Co-Chairs of the EOTA event this year are Micah Bhatti, Jim Smitth and Joe Frank. This all star crew of Co-Chairs organized the event last year, putting a considerable amount of time into a making the event a success and helped raise several thousand dollars.

    The Joel Priddy Evening of the Arts Endowment was established by friends and family of Joel Priddy to support the efforts of the annual Evening of the Arts production

    This year's event will take place on Saturday, April 1st at 7pm in the University Conference Center Auditorium. More information about the Evening of the Arts program can be found at:
