Dr. Spurrier stood out as an exemplary student leader not only because of her extensive involvement on at least a half-dozen committees and student organizations but also because her location at a center campus during her first two years did little to prevent her from being a major presence at the main Indianapolis campus. Along with Jodi Skiles '05 and Scott Zuick '06, Dr. Spurrier is a striking example of proactivity as a center student and contributed tremendously to helping the faculty and administration improve the communication between regional center campuses and the main Indianapolis campus.
