The Ad Hoc Committees are created by the President of the Medical Student Council to help the MSC administration with accomplishing its objectives.

Information Technology Committee: A chair is appointed by the MSC President to oversse technology concerns for the student body and works with the Medical Student Affairs IT personal, including the MSA database specialist. IT issues include wireless access in the buildings as well as the IUSM Website systems.

Current 2007 Chair: Class of 2010 Treasurer, Kevin Jenner

Finance Auditing Committee: Chaired by the MSC Treasurer to allocate funds to all SIGs and MSC entities for the year. Other members of the committee typically include the four class treasurers and one or two SIG representatives.

Interview Day Committee: Chaired by the MSC Vice President to conduct schoolwide the school wide interview and selection or recommendation committee consisiting of 40 current MSC Members. The Interview Day committee makes the final recommendations to the Deans office regarding candidacy of Dean-Appointment candidates. the MSC President, with the vote of the Interview Day Committee, Appointes candidates to the MSC-Appointed MSC positions

Constitution and Bylaws Revision Committee: Chaired by the MSC President to reconstruct the prose of the MSC constitution to reflect a student government more in line with the US constitution.
