Student Interest Groups at the School of Medicine

Student Interest Groups (SIGs) are organizations that are founded and led by students at Indiana University School of Medicine.  The focus of each SIG is decided by its founding members and is usually a topic of importance which appeals to many medical students.  SIGs may be founded for the purpose of increasing awareness about a particular issue, sharing knowledge and advice amongst students about a particular medical specialty, or to provide an organizational structure for volunteering events.  The nature of SIGs is such that individuals may develop and found one based on any theme of interest to members of the medical student population.

This web page is the official list of Medical Student Council-recognized SIGs.  Listing on this web page does not indicate recognition of a Student Interest Group by IUPUI or the Student Development Funding Committee of IUPUI.
