- MSC executive officer elections: On November 30! Send platforms (1-2 pages) by November 23 to Kevin Jenner (kjenner@iupui...).
- St. Vitus Dance: The annual IUSM formal will be January 9. Tickets are on sale now ($40 until Dec. 18, $45 afterward until Jan. 4). See previous emails for how to buy tickets.
- Evening of the Arts (EOTA): IUSM's talent show and art auction will be on February 13. If you have art or crafts to donate (accepted through 2/6/10), email Henry Chou (chouh@iupui...). All proceeds benefit local clinics.
Ways to contribute
- Muncie students are supporting a family for Thanksgiving. Email Jenny Baenziger (jbaenz@iupui...) if you want to help.
- Thoughts on requiring 3rd years to do 1-3 away rotations? Email Kevin Jenner (kjenner@iupui...) before November 24.
- 4 new Regional Center Liaisons were approved by the MSC. These students act as liaisons between the centers and the MSC. They are (drum-roll, please...): Matt Swarm (TH, Evansville), Matt Gentry (Bloomington, Muncie), Janushi Dalal (Lafayette, Gary), Ted Brown (South Bend, Fort Wayne).
- Wishard is going to build a new building. The Wishard Revision Project was passed by Marion County voters on November 3.
- Despite great efforts by the MSI and MSII class officers and many student volunteers, the library will be closed after 9PM due to liability concerns.
- The MSC will be voting on revisions to the section in the bylaws regarding MSC funds on November 30.

Elections for the 5 Executive Officers (Presient, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Members, Treasurer, and Secretary) will be held November 30th and are open to all students!

Medical Student Council Members: the Class Councils, Regional Center Liaisons, and the Executive Committee).
Can I run for more than one position?
Yes, you can run for all five if you'd like - and the great thing is that you only need to submit one platform!
