My research interests include epilepsy, intractable seizures, and neuroprotection. I chose the MedNeuro program because my desire to learn about the Central Nervous system extends beyond the information I learned in my first two years of medical school. While earning a PhD in the MedNeuro program, I hope to acquire an advanced understanding of the way the brain protects itself against disease.
