As a first year student, I currently intend to investigate the genetic and molecular causes of neuropsychiatric diseases related to anxiety and mood disorders.  My interest in the Medical Neurobiology program initially stemmed from the flexibility of the program and the quality of its faculty.  These combined resources should provide me with a diverse research perspective and ample resources to pursue my interests.
