    Dr. Ghetti is the Director of the Division of Neuropathology, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Indiana University School of Medicine.  Dr. Ghetti's ongoing research involves the pathological changes and molecular mechanisms in several neurodegenerative diseases:  Alzheimer disease, Gerstmann-Straussler-Scheinker disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob and the weaver mouse mutation.  He is currently collaborating in laboratory studies into familial forms od dementias and prion diseases.
