Dr. Conneally received a Ph.D. at the University
of Wisconsin in Madison, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Case
Western Reserve University. He is certified in medical genetics by
the American Board of Medical Genetics and a founding fellow of the American
College of Medical Genetics.
Dr. Conneally's research interests include the
mapping of Mendelian and complex inherited diseases. Major interests
include the study of Huntington disease, genetics of alcoholism, diabetes
and manic depressive illness. He is a member of numerous national
committees and serves as editor of five scientific journals. Dr.
Conneally has received grant awards from both National Institutes of Health
and other sources.
