Undergraduate Leadership Award: Robert I. Long Award: Contributions, leadership, and service to other psychology students, the department, or the School of Science. Research GPA presentations and publications are secondary considerations.

Maraysa Raffenspargerwill graduate in May with a double major in psychology and event management with a Clinical Rehabilitation Concentration. She would like to work for a non-profit doing event planning for a couple of years before applying to graduate school clinical psychology or social work.
Undergraduate Research Award: Based upon the total papers accepted for publication, papers accepted for presentation, or amount of contribution by the student to research, especially in generating research ideas and in writing papers.

Malene Abell will graduate in May with a major in psychology and minor in biology with a concentration in both Behavioral Neuroscience and Clinical Psychology. Her plans are to attend graduate school in the area of clinical neuropsychology.
Undergraduate Academic Achievement Award (Robert G. Neel): The student with the highest GPA (to the hundredth decimal point) who has completed 60 hours or more from IUPUI at the time of graduation will receive this award.

IUPUI Top 100 Outstanding Students

Alicia Bowman will graduate in August with a major in psychology, a concentration in Clinical Psychology, the Psychology of Additions, and a minor in music. She is planning to attend graduate school to study Clinical Rehabilitation Psychology with a research focus on severe mental illness.

Linda Collins will graduate in May ’10 with a major in psychology and a concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology.

Rose Soliven will graduate in May ’10 with a double major in psychology and journalism and a concentration in Clinical Psychology. She would like to pursue a master’s in public health or journalism.
ServiceCorps

Lydia Higgins will graduate in May ’10 with a major in psychology. She is interested in the Peace Corp and eventually attending graduate school in public affairs. Through ServiceCorp, she helps coordinate and lead groups of students during campus wide service days.
Psi Chi Scholarship: The IUPUI Psi Chi Scholarship recognizes Psychology students attending IUPUI who excel academically and show promise of success in their future careers. Additionally, this competitive scholarship encourages and rewards departmental, campus and community service by members of the IUPUI chapter of Psi Chi. The IUPUI Psi Chi Scholarship recipient will receive a competitive scholarship payable in two installments, one installment per semester. The second semester installment will be based on the recipient’s continued, active membership in the IUPUI Psi Chi Chapter.

David Leap will graduate in May ‘10 with a major in psychology. He is interested in going to graduate school to become a Christian counselor.
