That's right. Somebody's got to deal with equations too, so I'm glad you're asking. However, be warned that there is no isolated theoretical oasis in the lab. Whatever theories you have in mind, they have to be testable. Experiments necessarily involve theory, while the reciprocal is not always true. But who knows? At least in theory, you might be able to prove me wrong.
