Molecular Biology
In a Physics department? Why not, since many of our students, especially undergraduates are interested in medical careers. Medically oriented students work in projects that involve collaborations with laboratories in Biology and School of Medicine while having a home in our lab. That entails a very broad spectrum of activities, from growing cells to analyzing x-ray pictures of extracted membranes. And keeping us updated with constructions around the campus.
