Ticket prices:
Students: $10 per ticket ($15 at the door)
General Public: $15 per ticket ($20 at the door)
Tickets are generally available for purchase one month before the show in the Office for Mentoring and Student Development (MS 162). Online ticket sales are also available through Paypal below.
This year, one of our fellow medical students, Annique Wilson-Weekes of the IUSM Class of 2014, passed away after a five-month struggle with a rare form of stomach cancer. She has an incredible story and has been an inspiration to many of her classmates, as well as to her family and community. Those who were closest to her have decided to start a medical student scholarship/award in her name to help a student that best exemplifies the value system of this compassionate and hard-working mother of two. This year we've added an optional $2 donation to the Annique Wilson-Weekes Scholarship Fund in addition to the ticket prices below.
Please note that if you purchased via Paypal, you will not be receiving a physical or electronic ticket. Your name will be added to a "paid" list, so just check in with us at the door. Thank you!
Time
The doors open at 5:30 pm. and the show begins at 6:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to view and bid on the silent auction items which will be on display before the beginning of the show.
The total running time for the show is typically between two and three hours divided into two acts by an intermission. During intermission the silent auction will take place in the lobby and hallways directly outside of the auditorium. Refreshments will be available during intermission.
Location
Evening of the Arts takes place at the Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School. The auditorium is located on the east side of the school. Free parking is available to the north and south of the auditorium.
