IU School of Medicine presents

[Evening of the Arts]

The Joel Priddy Endowment

The Joel Priddy Evening of the Arts Endowment was established by friends and family of Joel Priddy to support the efforts of the annual Evening of the Arts production. As a first and second year medical student, Joel worked behind the scenes to organize Evening of the Arts and was also the show's host both years. During his second year of medical school, Joel was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He continued his work with Evening of the Arts and served as the show's emcee while undergoing treatment for his lymphoma.

Although Joel's life was cut short on September 6, 2000, his wit, humor, carefree style, and intense love of life live on. It was the Priddy family's wish that the Joel Priddy Evening of the Arts Endowment be a lasting tribute to Joel and his dedication to art and medicine. The Joel Priddy Evening of the Arts Endowment will allow Evening of the Arts to enrich the lives of many in the Indianapolis community for many years to come.
