The Evening of the Arts Silent Auction
takes place during intermission. The auction will run for thirty minutes
and guests are invited to bid on as many pieces as they wish. Most of
the art work consists of photos and paintings. However, we have also had
more unique items such as furniture, hand made clocks, pottery, glass
works, clothing, and many other interesting items. Most of the art work
is produced and donated by Indiana University medical students. Each
item usually starts out at $10 to $20 dollars. The minimum bid increase
is $1 dollar. All proceeds from the art auction go to supporting
programs providing medical care to the homeless.
