We welcome all those who would like to donate their visual artwork for the Evening of the Arts Silent Auction. In the past we have had paintings, photographs, pottery, glass work, clothing, jewelry, and even furniture. Completed art work can be dropped off in MS 162. We do ask that each item is given a title and that the artist's name be somewhere on the piece for identification purposes (eg. on the back of the painting/photograph). There is no limit to the number of pieces an individual may submit.
We would like for all artwork to have the following:
- Name of person submitting artwork
- Artists's contact information (email and/or phone number)
- IUSM title (MS1, MS2, PGY3, attending, etc.)
- Title of artwork
- Description of artwork
- Desired starting bid
On the night of the event, the art work will be on disply before the show beginning at 6:00pm. The silent auction will take place before the show until 7:00pm and continue during the intermission for 15 minutes. We encourage artist to be present during the auction, in case potential bidders have questions. Items that are not bid on will be returned to the artist. The artist does have the option of donating the art work fo EOTA. Such art work will either be kept for next year's auction or will be framed and hung in the Daly Center.
