Bepko Cup Rules

The tournament will be played in four person Florida Scramble format.

  • All four players may tee off at each hole (team must use each player's drive a minimum of 3 times on par fours and fives).
  • Works like a conventional scramble except that the team may not select the same golfer's shot twice in a row until reaching the green. If a player's shot is selected, that player is supposed to skip the next shot altogether.
  • Once on the green, this restriction no longer applies.
  • Once a team member has putt the ball in the cup, the hole will be complete and no other putts will be counted.
  • Pick up ball on any hole where you've reached double par.

Please observe golf etiquette especially with regard to time. Help keep the tournament running smoothly in a good steady pace by. This will help those in the tournament to finish playing before dark.

Record your team's score on the scorecard.

Longest Drive Contests: Drive must be in the fairway to count. If your tee shot is longer than the marker, pick up the marker and move it to your spot and record your name at the bottom of the list. If your tee shot is within 10 yards of the marker, even though short of the marker, record your name and indicate distance (we may need to determine a second place long drive).

Closest-to-the-Hole Contests: Ball must be on the green. If your chip/tee shot stops closer to the hole than the marker, move the marker to your spot and record your name and the approximate measurement at the bottom of the list.

Turn in the scorecard to the Scorekeeper's Table.

Tie Breaking Policy

Ties will be settled by a "card-off" to determine the overall winner. The Tournament Director will use the scores starting on the 18th hole; we will go backwards until tie is broken.

NOTE: No individual winner will collect more than one prize. Any rulings will be made by the tournament committee, Matt Rota-Autry, Chairperson.

Beverage cart will be out doing their rounds.

Beverages are complimentary (sodas, beer, and water).
