Racquetball Courts

The Department of Intramural and Recreational Sports offers use of the racquetball/handball courts whenever intramural league play and classes are not scheduled.

Available to participants who have paid the semester recreation fee and have a valid IUPUI Jag Tag. Guests are not permitted. Two players at a time are only permitted. Call today to schedule your one-hour reservation. Must have paid semester recreation fee and have valid IUPUI Jag Tag to play. Players who rent equipment will be required to leave Jag Tag ID with laundry room attendant or supervisor.

Reservations are required. Reservations must be made prior to court time by calling (317) 274-2824 between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Fall Hours of Operation

Monday- Thursday: 7:00am-9:00pm
Friday: 7:00am-6:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 2:00pm-6:00pm

Policies and Procedures

• The racquetball court is available to users who have a valid IUPUI Jag Tag ID and have paid the semester recreation fee.
• Use of racquetball courts by reservations only (1 hour reservations on the hour).
• Appropriate attire must be worn.
  • Shoes: Proper footwear (non-marking soles) must be worn by all participants. Open-toed footwear is not allowed in the workout areas, racquetball courts and basketball courts. Hard-soled dress shoes, spikes/cleats or boots are not allowed.
  • Shirts: Shirts bearing inappropriate messages are not allowed. Due to potential biological hazard, medical scrubs are not permitted.
• No personal items such as bookbags, workout bags, and coats are allowed in the Main Gym and Racquetball Courts. Please lock your personal items in the PE lockers. You may bring in your own locks and use the A/B lockers on a daily basis or you may rent a locker from the Natatorium Front Desk for the semester.
• Protective eyewear is required while playing racquetball. Goggles are available to rent in the vending machine next to the Recreational Sports office.
• No guests or children are allowed. Anyone entering the racquetball room must have a valid IUPUI Jag Tag and have paid the semester recreation fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• No Smoking. No eating. No pets.
• The use of the facility may be restricted at certain times. A notice will be posted.
