CULTURAL HERITAGE TOURISM CERTIFICATE (IU)

Completion of the eight courses identified below with a passing grade and GPA of 2.2 within a five year period will qualify an IUPUI degree seeking student to be awarded a Cultural Heritage Tourism Certificate from the Department of Tourism, Conventions, and Event Management.

TCEM 172: The Development and Management of Attractions 3 cr
TCEM 231: Marketing in Food Service and Lodging Operations 3 cr
TCEM 272: The Tourism System 3 cr
TCEM 302: Hospitality/Tourism industry Trends 2 cr
TCEM 334: Cultural Heritage Tourism 3 cr
TCEM 372: International Travel Geography 3 cr
TCEM 387: Tourism Internship* 2 cr
TCEM 472: Global Tourism Seminar 3 cr

  Total 22 cr

To record progress of students toward completion of the Cultural and Heritage Tourism Certificate, this application must be filed in the TCEM Office with Pat May upon enrollment in the first tourism course and updated with enrollment in each of the other courses.
