Dean Kellum Announces Retirement Plans
Call for Applications Issued
After 38 years of service, the Dean, in consultation with his family, announced plans for his retirement, effective August 31, 2008.
One of the real joys of his work, said the Dean, is the support the school receives from its alumni and friends. “I appreciate all our alumni have done and will continue to do in interest of the school, “said Dean Kellum.
“Students also bring tremendous joy to my work,” continued Dean Kellum. “Some of my most fond memories will be the daily interaction I have with students, who are the heart of our program. I also have had the privilege to work with many talented and dedicated faculty and staff members over the years. For that, I am extremely grateful.”
In response to the Dean’s announcement, Chancellor Bantz pledged his full support of the school and intends to name a successor in a timely fashion. A search and screen committee was appointed, and the call for applications issued (review criteria and application).
Applications received by January 15, 2008, shall receive priority review. Questions, requests for information, and all written nominations and applications should be directed to:
