Continuing Student Satisfaction Survey Results
By Sotiris Avgoustis

For the third consecutive year, the Vice Chancellor for Planning and Institutional Improvement has commissioned a survey of the JUPUI undergraduate student body.

The Office of Information Management and Institutional Research conducts the survey. Its purpose is to provide student input into institutional planning and assessment.
Students expressed the greatest level of satisfaction with registering for classes by phone, followed by information professors give about course requirements, the quality of teaching by faculty in their major, spaces for individual and group study, and courses in their major area.

A different survey conducted for the School of Physical Education (includes RH1T), showed similar outcomes. The school’s students were satisfied with the following services: quality of teaching by faculty in their major; courses in their major; academic advising in their department or school; general helpfulness of faculty; availability of faculty for discussion outside class and availability of computers in public clusters.
