by Jim Bennett

The RHIT Department was saddened to learn of the death of one of it’s students over the summer. For those who have not yet heard, Mike Adcock was killed in an automobile accident on June 29.

He transferred to IUPUI the following semester and became a member of the RHIT Department in the fall of 1993. Having worked in several restaurants, Mike’s interest centered around the culinary aspect of the hospitality industry; his future plans included opening his own restaurant. At the time of his death, Mike was employed in sales and service for Computer Systems Integration Corp.

Mike is survived by his mother and sister. Mike was an asset to the department as well as the hospitality industry; he will be missed.
