Contact

The Institute for American Thought (IAT) is sponsored by the School of Liberal Arts. We work closely with the English, History, and Philosophy departments

The IAT is located on the IUPUI campus in the basement of the Education/Social Work building on the corner of New York St. and University Blvd.

We are open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, but we do require you speak with faculty and/or staff before looking for materials.

If you would like to visit the IAT, please

  • Contact the professor you’d like to speak with directly, or
  • Email us at iat@iupui.edu for an appointment time, or
  • Call us at 317-278-3374, or
  • Write to us at the address below, or
  • Speak with Megan at the front desk.

If you would like more information on the IAT holdings, or if you’re looking for something specific, please contact Martha, the IAT Librarian, at mrujuwa[at]iupui[dot]edu.
