About Honors Club

Honors Club is dedicated to uniting people interested in maximizing their educational opportunities. The club provides social, educational, and community service opportunities for the student body and faculty that enhance the learning environment at IUPUI and in the community. Membership is open to all university students, faculty, and staff. We hold two to three meetings a month (the time will be determined at the first meeting in late August/early September.) In addition to monthly meetings, Honors Club plans special activities that offer students, faculty, and staff numerous opportunities for enhancing their educational endeavors. If you are interested in joining, please contact Anita Sivam, president at asivam@iupui.edu.

Honors Club is a well-rounded extracurricular activity without just one focus. From community service to social activities, we have it all!

Community Service: Honors Club sponsors two blood drives during the school year. In addition, we participate in different community service projects such as United Way Day of Caring and Martin Luther King Day of Service. These projects not only provide service to our community, but allow Honors Club members to bond outside the school atmosphere.

Social Activities: This school year, Honors Club wants to provide more social activities to its club members. A school-wide dodgeball tournament will be organized for sometime in October. In addition, trips to Fountain Square bowling alley and picnics at Eagle Creek are other possibilities. Officers are always willing to take ideas so please let us know if you would like to do something specific!
