Author Jason Lantzer will sign copies of his book, "Prohibition is Here to Stay" at Barnes & Nobles @ IUPUI.

About the Book:
"Prohibition is Here to Stay" focuses on the Reverend Edward S. Shumaker, a Methodist minister who for nearly twenty-five years led Indiana's influential chapter of the Anti Saloon League. Drawing on Shumaker's personal papers, Lantzer argues that understanding the role of religious faith and in particular evangelical Protestantism is essential to understanding Prohibition.

Men's Basketball vs. St. Joseph's @ IUPUI

IUPUI Men's Basketball

The IUPUI men's basketball team will continue its preseason to the 2009-10 campaign by hosting St. Joseph's (Ind.) College in an exhibition game inside The Jungle (IUPUI Gymnasium). Led by Head Coach Ron Hunter, who's entering his 16th season, the Jaguars look to make a return trip to the NCAA Tournament behind the strength of senior forwards Jon Avery, Robert Glenn and Billy Pettiford.
