Description: This presentation helps students to identify and avoid things in graduate school applications that can decrease their chances of acceptance. Included are examples of kisses of death that prevented otherwise strong candidates from being admitted into graduate programs.

Description: Learn about one of the most common entrance exams for grad school, the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Join an expert from ETS, the good folks who devise and administer the test worldwide, to learn more about the exam and how it can assist you in being a strong candidate for the program of your choice.

Test Prep - Room 405

Description: In addition to the GRE, other common entrance exams include the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT); Law School Admission Test (LSAT); Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). All of these exams require preparation in order to score well. There are many options to consider when looking for test prep and a representative from Kaplan will explain their approach to assisting students to do their best.

The Cost of Graduate School - Room 409

Description: Often potential grad students spend much time researching the specific programs in which they are interested. Rarely, however, do these same students consider the actual cost of grad school. Explore the costs involved in obtaining a graduate degree including time commitment and time away from family as well as actual dollars and cents.
