Graduate Non-Degree (GND) Application Process

Who is Eligible to Complete the GND Application?

1. Any person with a US bachelor’s degree who has never been admitted to the GND Program at IUPUI who plans to enroll in graduate courses only or a combination of graduate and undergraduate courses.
2. Any person previously admitted to the GND Program since January 1, 1993 who has never completed a course and plans to enroll in graduate courses only or a combination of graduate and undergraduate courses.

The GND online application requires a $60 non-refundable application processing fee payable by credit card.

Please note: IUPUI does not routinely issue visa documents for GND students in F-1 or J-1 student status since GND studies do not normally meet United States INS requirements.

Application Process

1. Complete the online application for admission.
2. Complete the fee payment information to authorize your credit or debit card payment for $60.
3. Any Resident Alien, who has earned a U.S. bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or Ph.D. should submit a legible photocopy of his/her Resident Alien Card to the address or fax number above.
4. After being admitted to the GND Program, you will receive acceptance and registration information via e-mail.

Who is Eligible to Complete the GND Update Form?

Any GND student previously admitted on or after January 1, 1993, who stopped out for one semester or longer and wishes to enroll in graduate courses only or combination of graduate and undergraduate courses, please complete the Graduate Non-Degree Update Form (PDF)

Who is Eligible to Complete the Undergraduate Admission Visiting Student Application?

Any GND student previously admitted on or after January 1, 1993 who stopped out for a semester or longer and wishes to enroll in undergraduate courses only, please complete the Undergraduate Visiting Student Application.
