M.A. in Public Relations: As a Public Relations master’s student, you’ll prepare for management positions with faculty members who have worked the front lines and top echelon of the profession and who have conducted cutting-edge research - and some have won the highest honors in the business. You may specialize in one of three areas: General Public Relations Management, Public Relations in Health Care and Life Sciences or Sports Public Relations. The degree requires 34 credit hours and can be completed in two or three years. Courses are offered at night to accommodate working professionals. M.A. in Sports Journalism: Opportunities for sports journalism master’s students abound in Indianapolis, a city that is home to dozens of professional and amateur sports organizations. You’ll learn by doing real-world projects, working with established journalists at internships, networking with visiting professionals, and more. The 30-credit-hour program is ideal for graduating seniors and professionals with a few years of experience. No thesis is required and you can complete your degree in one or two years.
