Fee Remission Awards
The following fee remission awards are limited to pay specific charges on your bursar account.
State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana (SSACI) awards
- Frank O’Bannon Grant
- Twenty-First Century Scholars Program
- Indiana National Guard Supplemental Grant
- Child of Certain Veterans and Public Safety Officer Supplemental Grant Program
These fees remissions awards are allowed to pay the student’s tuition and mandatory fees and cannot be used for books or living expenses.
IU Tuition Benefit (Fee Courtesy Plan)
The IU Tuition Benefit plan for employees, retirees, spouses and registered domestic partners and the dependent child fee courtesy plan are administered by IUPUI Human Resource Administration. If the Tuition Benefit form is processed after the student has been billed for tuition, the Tuition Benefit becomes a reimbursement after the student has paid all fees. The actual remission of fees will be reflected on your Bursar billing statement available from OneStart and may be “adjusted” if the student has eligibility for one or more fee remission awards. The remission of fees amount on the Financial Aid Notification letter is an estimate.
