Non-Degree Guidelines

The Non-Degree Prerequisite Certification form is available for students to complete to request certification of eligibility for a Federal Direct Loan when taking coursework required for admission to an eligible program of study. A student must be enrolled in prerequisite courses for each semester at least half-time (6 credit hours for undergraduates; 4 credit hours for graduate students). The maximum period of eligibility is one consecutive twelve (12) month period. Students taking courses to improve their GPA are not eligible for financial aid under the pre-requisite policy.

You may obtain the Non-Degree Prerequisite Certification form by visiting one of our counselors in the Campus Center, Suite 250.
