A Great Meeting and Elections
We had a great club and board meeting today. Christopher Day, of Navidar Group, really hit the nail on the head when he explained the meaning of entrepreneurship and what’s necessary, in terms of working with people, to succeed. I’m very interested to learn more about the process of selling your start-up, or working in a M&A environment. Maybe a topic for a different meeting?
Just as a reminder, election time is coming up! If you are interested in applying to become a part of the Entrepreneurship Club executive team, please fill out the application. There are many positions coming open, and this is a great resume and experience builder.

Feat. Sam Miller (Solstice Architecture)
Join the Entrepreneurship Club on Feb. 7th from 5-6 PM to hear from Sam Miller, CEO and Founder of Solstice Architecture.
Sam founded Solstice Architecture in 2007 to explore and make visible the relationships between ecology, community and design. Prior to his current position, he spent 26 years with large firms in Chicago and Indianapolis. With experience in historical restoration, new construction, programming and master planning, Miller brings to bear a creative sensibility that is unique in the Midwest.

It’s true! Entrepreneurship is a hot topic and and even hotter career choice! Who’s really into it? Researchers and inventors in technology, informatics, art and design, consulting, nursing, to name a few. And you can learn about entrepreneurship too! Attend the Entrepreneurship Club call-out meeting on January 17th from 5 -6 PM in Campus Center room 309.
