Business Manager/ HR Liaison
As the Business Manager, Ms. Powell is responsible for oversight of financial activities for the Division of Enrollment Management. She works collaboratively within the Division of Enrollment Management as well as the RC Fiscal Officer to insure appropriate implementation of fiscal procedures and controls. In conjunction with the RC Fiscal Officer, develop and implement departmental procedures and policies, provide direction and guidance to staff, and document, maintain and audit fiscal and HR records and transactions. Provide cost analysis, benchmarks and budget/expenditure forecasts and a variety of reports as required for Enrollment Management. Perform fiscal analysis and provide support for the annual budget construction process for the division. Participate in strategic management of the units as it relates to hiring needs, purchasing, etc. Advise leadership on budgetary conditions, policies, etc. As the HR Liaison, she oversee all HR related functions and processes.
