Why Study Economics?
The reach of economic analysis is simply astonishing. Describing behavior in terms of optimizing, equilibria, and efficiency, provides a rich framework for analyzing a problem in a systematic and comprehensive manner. This is the method's great strength,for it means that the behavior of individuals can be predicted in entirely new situations. In an environment of technological change, social change, legal change, and political change, having the tool of economic analysis to apply to each new situation is highly valuable in all industries.

mists. The Economics Department advisor is a source of information for internships
