2005 Graduates

Program graduates are prepared to pursue a variety of future careers, such as rural primary care specialists able to provide consultative or intensive care services, urban primary care doctors serving the underserved, suburban managed primary care specialists, fellowship-trained subspecialists able to bridge pediatric to adult medicine, or academic faculty. Approximately sixty percent of our program's graduates work in primary care medicine-pediatrics. Successful board certification in both fields is anticipated with residents choosing to either undertake both examinations in their graduating year or complete one exam in each of two successive years.
