In addition, complimentary admissions may be provided to members of the institution's team for all contests in a tournament in which the team is participating, rather than only for those tournament games in which the institution's team actually participates. However, tickets may be provided for any such tournament contests contests only at the site at which the institution’s team participates. It is not permissible for an institution to provide additional complimentary admissions or to make arrangements for a student-athlete (or friends or relatives) to purchase additional tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased only in the same manner as the general public purchases tickets. Complimentary admissions shall be provided only through a pass list for those individuals designated by the student-athlete. The individual utilizing the complimentary admission must present identification to the person supervising the pass list at the admission gate. The individual will then be permitted to enter the audience areas for the designated athletic event. The student-athlete's eligibility shall be affected for involvement in action contrary to the applicable provisions, e.g., receipt of more than the permissible four complimentary admissions or the sale or exchange of a complimentary admission for cash or any item of value. (b) Away Events Student-athletes who are eligible to travel with the team are to sign up for complimentary admissions with the person so designated by the head coach for that sport. This is to be done in sufficient time to allow the Compliance Coordinator 24 hours for review of the list prior to the upcoming athletics event. The Compliance Coordinator will return the approved list to the coach or coach's designee who will be responsible for transporting the list to the away contest site.
