16.1 Limitations on Number of Coaches

An individual who coaches shall be designated as a head coach, assistant coach, volunteer coach, or undergraduate assistant coach. All sports except basketball are permitted one volunteer coach. There are no limits on the number of permissible undergraduate assistant coaches. The following represents the maximum allowance in the listed coaching positions:

In all sports, only the certified Head and Assistant coaches are permitted to contact or evaluate prospects off campus. The limit on the number of certified coaches who may contact or evaluate prospects off campus at any one time are as follows:
