David Ford, the Associate Dean of SLA, and Larbi Oukada, the Acting Chair of Dept of World Language and Culture, visited SYSU Sept 2007. Two instructors from SYSU, Dinah Zhang and Fang Jiang, are offering Chinese language classes for IUPUI students. Together with SPEA, SLA also hosts a visiting professor, Meili Niu, from SYSU in the fall of 2008.
